Shawn King may be gone from The Mac Show, but he’s back in his old time slot (Wednesday evening from 6-8pm Pacific) with a new radio show, Your Mac Life.
The first show aired last night. It was broadcast on a “tape delayed” basis but still welcomed record numbers to the WWBChat’s Digital Garden and on the Dal.Net Servers in the IRC Channel of #yourmaclife, King said. Guests on the show were Brett Miller, A.G. Edwards Analyst, who discussed Apple’s earnings announcement of last week. Bob “Dr. Mac” Levitus was also on hand to talk about the new product lineup from Apple. Another guest was Al Whipple, the man behind Alsoft’s DiskWarrior.
Host/producer King handed out his Macworld Expo Awards and talked about his “Expo Experience.” Next week, Your Mac Life moves to its normal QuickTime streaming broadcast courtesy of the QuickTime experts at Digital Forest.
Michael Rubin, author of “The Little Digital Video Book” from PeachPit Press, will be one of the special guests next week. Copies of his book will be given away.
