OSXFoundry — a portal where Mac OS X developers can post their work, download source code, try out samples, share ideas, and information — is ready for prime time. The site will cover as many different programming languages and technologies available on Mac OSX as possible, founder Franck Leveneur told MacCentral.
OSXFoundry was created last March Leveneur. With the help of Wilson Yin, they quickly put together the Web site layout. OSXFoundry will cover all Mac OS X programming related technologies: PHP, WebObjects, JSP, Java, Objective C, AppleScript, as well as such databases as mysql, frontBase, and OpenBase.
“Our goal is to grow this Web site with great content and make it the best, coolest, and most useful Web site for Mac OSX desktop and Web application developers. Whatever your level (beginner, intermediate, or expert), we hope to bring you as much information as possible, share sample code but also show Mac OS X developers what can be done on Mac OS X.”
OSXFoundry is also looking for assistants. Anyone with some spare time who’s interested in helping Leveneur and Yin build “the best and cool Web site” for Apple Mac OS X related technologies, should drop them an e-mail.
