Shutterfly, an online photo service, has introduced a new photo archive CD.
To construct a Shutterfly Archive CD, you create a custom title, which will be printed on the front side of the CD, then choose which albums you want to archive. Shutterfly will duplicate the selected albums, including the order in which the pictures appear and put all the original high-resolution versions of the images, just as they were uploaded, onto a non-erasable CD, according to Andy Wood, president and CEO of Shutterfly. Once you’ve reviewed the contents, you can choose where the CD will be sent and check out.
The Shutterfly Archive CD includes free Shutterfly SmartUpload software. The price is based on the number of images chosen and starts at US $9.99.
