Ambrosia Software Inc. has released version 1.0.2 of Snapz Pro X, the pro image capture tool for Mac OS X. The new version adds features, fixes several bugs.
Snapz Pro X provides users with much more flexible screen saving features than the “Grab” utility built into Mac OS X. Users can save images in .bmp, .pict, .gif, .jpg, .png, .tiff, .pdf and Photoshop files. Users can also optionally record onscreen actions in a QuickTime movie.

Snapz Pro X 1.0.2 costs US$29 for the regular version, $49 for the QuickTime version. It requires Mac OS X. Upgrading from Snapz Pro 2 (the version for “Classic” Mac OS) costs $19.
