Nemetschek North America and Peachpit Press have announced the release of a new book for users of VectorWorks 9. The book is entitled VectorWorks 9: Visual QuickStart Guide, and it provides one- and two-page illustrated spreads along with a walkthrough of all the major features in VectorWorks, as well as assorted tips and tricks. The book’s author is industrial designer Tom Baer.
The Visual QuickStart Guide is geared toward the beginner and intermediate user, according to Nemetschek, covering everything from drawing simple lines to creating 3D objects. Topics covered include creating and modifying 2D and 3D shapes; drawing with constraints; architectural drawings; layers and classes; and using worksheets, reports and presentations capabilities.
VectorWorks 9: Visual QuickStart Guide is available in bookstores, at computer dealers, and directly from Peachpit Press. Nemetschek North America plans to begin selling it as well.
