The OmniGroup — the company behind the popular Mac OS X Web browser OmniWeb — has updated its diagramming program OmniGraffle. The newest beta fixes bugs and adds support in several areas.
New in this version is added support for AppleScript; fixed the bug where text was shifting slightly after editing; graphics were getting highlighted during line creation even if connections were not allowed; there was a sporadic bug with the export pane where it wouldn’t let you change the file type. Rewrote the code that handles this. Please send feedback if you are still seeing the problem; and many other items too numerous to mention here.
With OmniGraffle you can draw diagrams, family trees, flow charts, org charts, layouts, and (mathematically speaking) any other directed or non-directed graphs, according to The OmniGroup.
OmniGraffle 2.0 beta 7 is available for download from the product Web site.
