Apple will be participating in the upcoming New York DV Show, which is set for February 10-14 at New York City’s New Yorker Hotel.
Billed as the Apple Visionary Keynote: The Digital Hub for Pros — Apple’s Mike Evangelist, director of product marketing, professional applications, will reveal the company’s video strategy and how so many have been empowered to create things they never imagined before, according to a statement released by the shows organizers.
The New York DV Show will also have 170 conference sessions, featuring five full-length conferences, each devoted to separate topics: Apple Final Cut Pro Users Conference, Adobe After Effects Users Conference, Avid Xpress DV Users Conference, Digital Video Conference and Discreet Fest.
Technical sessions at The New York DV Show will cover production techniques, editing power tips, special effects, cameras and decks, hardware peripherals, streaming, DVD authoring, 3D animation, audio editing and business issues. Included will be sessions on products from: Adobe, Apple, Avid, Discreet, Macromedia, Media100, Microsoft, Pinnacle, Sonic and Sony.
