Scripting Matters, a company that specializes in automation workflow for small companies and large corporations, will offer two Macintosh automation seminars in Baltimore on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Marriott Courtyard Airport.
The focus will be, naturally, on AppleScript, Apple’s system-level automation technology. However, it will also cover different methods of automating desktop publishing. Baltimore is the third in a 28-city tour.
Attendees will learn the basics of getting started with AppleScript, and find out about freely available resources. And the “Automating Publishing in InDesign and QuarkXPress” seminar focuses on using a variety of tools and plug-ins to automate work in the desktop publishing programs.
The seminar is US $125 per session or $200 for both sessions. In the following months the seminar will come to Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland and Louisville. Cruise on over to the Scripting Matters Web site for more info.
