Apple has been named the Official Technology Provider for the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) Annual Meeting, which attracts deans and senior faculty member decision makers from colleges of education across the US. This year’s show, held Feb. 23-26 in New York, is expected to draw nearly 2,700 attendees.
Apple will have a booth that will focus on mobile computing (mainly iBooks and AirPort), digital media (their digital hub software, mainly iMovie), and Mac OS X. They’ll also be providing iBooks in two Apple Electronic Classrooms which they, and academic presenters, will oversee.
Apple will also be hosting a variety of sessions devoted to education and Apple technologies. All sessions are open to registered AACTE meeting attendees on a first come, first served basis. For more info go to the AACTE Web site or the “Apple at AACTE” page.
