The folks at Griffin Technology, located in Nashville, TN, have updated drivers for their iMate and gPort products, bringing Mac OS X compatibility.
Version 1.1 of the iMate driver for Griffin’s USB-to-ADB adapter is compatible with OS X 10.1 and higher. The new driver supports all currently available ADB devices that offer Mac OS X compatibility, such as the Kensington Mouseworks driver for Mac OS X, according to Andrew Green, Griffin’s VP of marketing.
The gPort Driver 1.1 update adds full Mac OS X 10.1 (and higher) support to Griffin’s line of serial adaptors for the Power Mac G4, G3, Blue & White G3 and Cube systems. You can use the gPort Serial Port Adapter to use serial port based MIDI interfaces, digital cameras, PDA docking stations, and serial printers with your Mac. Both drivers are available for download at the Griffin Web site.
