Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, Phil Schiller, will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday February 12 at 10:30 am, officially opening QuickTime Live. QuickTime Live runs from February 11-14 at the Beverly Hills Hilton, in Los Angeles, CA.
This year, in addition to all conference attendees, people with pre-registered exhibits-only badges will be admitted to the keynote. You must have a badge to enter the keynote.
Schiller’s will not be the only keynote at this years show. On Wednesday, Frank Casanova, Apple’s director of QuickTime product marketing will moderate a panel of media experts that will address the question “Why QuickTime?”
On Thursday, AppleScript Product Manager Sal Soghoian and Dirk Van Dall, vice president, Digital Video, Showtime Networks Inc. will talk to attendees about how to “Automate Your Workflow with QuickTime and AppleScript.”
Totally Hip Software will be hosting two pre-show sessions on authoring with Live Stage Pro.
The Product Showcase, featuring 35 QuickTime developers, is open to the public on Wednesday, February 13 from 10:30 – 4:00 and on Thursday, February 14 from 10:30 – 3:00.
There are also door prizes to be won — OS X Leather Jackets, software from Adobe, Macromedia, Totally Hip, MovieWorks, an iPod and the grand prize of a new iBook. You must be present to win the door prize.
