If you’re a software developer working in a multiplatform environment, you might be interested in Seapine Software’s new update to its defect tracking software TestTrack Pro. Version 4.6 is the latest version of the company’s multiplatform bug-tracking framework for software developers.
TestTrack Pro 4.6 now integrates with Microsoft’s Visual Studio .NET and Visual Basic 6, according to Seapine, and adds integration with SCM applications including CVS, SourceOffSite Classic, and StarTeam. The software’s integration with Microsoft’s Visual Studio .NET enables users to track defects and task assignments without leaving Microsoft’s own development IDE. Performance has been improved, and a graphic installer has been added which simplifies Linux and Solaris installations.
TestTrack Pro uses a Web-based client architecture to provide defect tracking regardless of platform. Seapine Software also supports the use of the TestTrack Pro Server software on Mac OS X.
Free upgrades to TestTrack Pro 4.6 are available for free to Seapine customers with up-to-date maintenance contracts; for more upgrade details visit the Web site.
