Aspyr Media reported today that two new games in its library are done and in production. In a brief e-mail to the media, the company reported that both Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and 4×4 Evolution 2 are now in duplication and should be shipping by the end of the week.
Based on the PC version of EA Games’ recently released hit, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a tie-in to the enormously popular children’s book and motion picture of the same name. It’s a third-person action game based on the same technical underpinnings used to power Unreal Tournament, but it’s crafted to be fun for the whole family.

Players join Harry and all of his friends as they explore Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry must collect Wizard Cards, Chocolate Frogs, and Bernie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans as he makes his way through Hogwarts and its grounds to solve various puzzle and overcome various challenges.
System requirements for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone call for a 300MHz or faster G3 or G4; Mac OS 8.6 or later (including Mac OS X); 4x CD-ROM; 96MB RAM; ATI RAGE 128 or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better-equipped video system.
A sequel to a game published for the Mac a year ago by Gathering of Developers, 4×4 Evolution 2 is the latest iteration of Terminal Reality Inc.’s offroad racing game. Players take to the driver’s seat of hundreds of different real-world 4×4 off-road trucks and sport utility vehicles as they race each other on a variety of challenging tracks.

As you win races you’re able to upgrade your vehicle with better and more sophisticated equipment to keep it in tip top shape. And if you get bored with that, you can also play an adventure mode where you can discover treasure and lost cities.
System requirements for 4×4 Evo 2 call for a 450MHz or faster G3 or G4; Mac OS 9.1 or higher (including Mac OS X); 128MB RAM; RAGE 128 or better hardware 3D graphics acceleration; 8x CD-ROM.
