Mac Webmasters, take note: MacASP, a CGI that provides server side processing to Mac Web servers, has added Mac OS X support with the oddly titled version 0.91.
MacASP is designed to use specific functionalities of the Mac, such as the AppleScript scripting language. It runs only on Power Macs.
The update also adds automatic HTTP compression, regular expressions, compatibility with ASIP multi-domains handling, Webstar V and Apache compatibility on Mac OS X, enhanced database support, and more. MacASP can be used for free — if you don’t mind popup ads.
You can download the CGI at the product Web site.
