A beta version of Norpath Elements Design Studio Pro — authoring software ideal for creating a wide range of interactive solutions including learning applications, Web, rich-media presentations, kiosks, and simulations — is now available from Norpath, a company that provides interactive software solutions for the Web, desktop, and enterprise.
Norpath Elements Design Studio introduces an object-based design environment that improves productivity by providing a more intuitive and natural approach to creating interactive applications, according to its designers. Design Studio includes a suite of drawing, animation, multimedia, knowledge, interaction, and application logic tools. Plus, Design Studio ships with a full set of element libraries, templates, and publishing wizards to help designers create and deploy Norpath Elements content.
The Norpath Elements Player is a one-time install that can run standalone or as a Web browser plug-in. The player’s special features include a kiosk mode designed for use in public environments such as classrooms, tradeshows, technology and science displays, as well as information stations. The Norpath Elements Player is a Java based technology and is available for multiple platforms.
Norpath Elements Design Studio Pro beta for Mac OS X is now available. The final product is expected to ship mid-year with a suggested retail price of US$499.
