Yesterday we brought you news that Mac game publisher Aspyr Media has announced the production of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, as well as 4×4 Evolution 2, two hot new game titles for the Macintosh. Both games were in duplication and were expected to ship before the end of the week, at last report.
Today brings more news from Aspyr. Aspyr reported that Mac game conversion company Westlake Interactive has brought the long-awaited survival horror action game Clive Barker’s Undying to First Playable status, an important milestone on the game’s road to completion.

Clive Barker’s Undying was originally expected to be released last year. Personnel changes and what Aspyr spokesperson Amy Torres called a technical “head scratcher” stopped the game’s development in its path, however. Aspyr reports that the Mac conversion of Clive Barker’s Undying is once again on “the fast track,” and the company anticipates that the game will hit its Beta milestone sometime in March.
Clive Barker’s Undying is a first person action game set on the grounds of a haunted estate in Ireland in the early part of the 20th Century. You must help Patrick Galloway, who has been summoned to assist his friend Jeremiah overcome a family curse that has already claimed the life of Jeremiah’s four siblings — siblings who have returned from the dead to wreak havoc upon the world of the living.
