Apple will be one of the companies participating in the Cool Products Expo, a showcase of the most cutting-edge companies and products in the field of manufacturing and design.
The expo will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 2-7 pm at McCaw Hall, Arrillaga Alumni Center (at the corner of Galvez and Memorial Way) in Stanford, CA. Other participating companies will include Microsoft, Intel, Immersion, AC Propulsion, Corbin Motors, Retractable, Timbuk2, Danger, IDEO, Millennium Jet, Nixon, Corbin Motors, AC Propulsion, Ford, Sun Microsystems, General Motors, Philips, Atlas, Toyota, and Sony.
Apple will demo the iPod and new flat panel iMac. Microsoft will showcase the Xbox. Danger will spotlight its hiptop wireless PDA. Danger is a company on which Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is on the board of directors. See our Dec. 6 story for details.
