Web Server 4D products updated to version 3.6

MGD Computer Services, Inc. has announced the release of version 3.6 of Web Server 4D and WS4D/eCommerce. The software provides you with a full-featured Web server built using 4th Dimension (and you don’t need to be a 4D programmer to use it). The upgrade to the new version of Web Server 4D is free.

Changes to Web Server 4D 3.6 include virus protection and notification, as well as nightly virus definition updating over the Web.

Changes to WS4D/eCommerce 3.6 include:

Transact-Secure by AuthorizeNet support added (fraud protection service).

AUTO_ONLY support added for AuthorizeNet (manual approval or voiding of orders, thus eliminating chargebacks).

Support for PayPal IPN (notifies WS4D when a payment is received).

A new Quick Search feature, allows you to simply searches.

Publishing products to search engines (a very important WS4D Feature), now works when running WS4D/eCommerce as a CGI to your Mac web server.

The upgrade to the new version are free if you own version 3.5.
