The software features options like the ability to set transparency and background color, dots per inch, drop shadows and whether the application stays on top. Users who register the software get additional options as well, such as the ability to measure pixels, picas, inches and centimeters. Plus, the software is “skinable,” so its look can be customized.
WD Software makes the software freely available for download and requests that users interested in Tape Measure X pay a US$5 registration fee.
