Zend have released a beta version of their PHP Zend Studio 2.0 for Mac OS X. (You’ll have to sign up to download the beta.)
PHP is an open-source server-side scripting language (freely downloadable from php.net and zend.com) that creates dynamic Web pages for e-commerce and other Web applications. Dynamic Web applications are prevalent in commercial (e-commerce) sites, where the content displayed is generated from information accessed in a database or other external source.
The Zend Development Environment is an integrated platform for writing and maintaining PHP applications. The ZDE combines a comprehensive editor with a code completion engine and an integrated debugger designed to speed development time and significantly reduce time-to-market. The Zend Development Environment is localized in English, German, French, Dutch, Korean and Japanese. (Thanks to MacCentral reader Nery Orellana for the heads-up on this one.)
