Changes to the new version of Active4D include “numerous bug fixes and enhancements,” according to the developer, along with an updated 300 page PDF reference manual.
If you want to kick the tires before you put down your money, you can download a demo first. It expires after one hour of continuous use.
Active4D costs US$99 per developer, per platform for the developer license. Deployment licenses run $700 per server for the first year and $270 per year to renew. Deployment licenses also include support and upgrades. OEM and volume pricing is also available. It runs on Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows 95 or better.
