Extensis is shipping Portfolio 6, the latest version of its digital asset manager, and promising a Mac OS X native version by summer.
The English version of Portfolio 6 is now available for download from the Extensis Web site. It has a suggested retail price of US$199.95 for the full product. Upgrades from previous versions range from $69.95 to $129.95. Portfolio Server is available starting at a suggested retail price of $2499.95, including five free copies of Portfolio 6 for Macintosh. French, German and Japanese language product will be available in the first half of 2002.
Portfolio 6 supports Mac OS 8.6 and higher. Registered owners of Portfolio 6 will be eligible to receive a free upgrade to the Mac OS X version of Portfolio, which will ship later this year. Portfolio 6 currently operates in the Mac OS X Classic environment.
