Griffin Technology has released new drivers for its PowerMate device. The PowerMate is a universal audio and media controller that provides support for volume control, muting, soft power on.
It can be programmed to control any application on your Mac. Plus, it can also be used as a game controller.
The first version of the PowerMate driver for Mac OS X is here. It includes support for AppleScripting and it also has a fix for a problem in the beta version where the PowerMate pane would sometimes not show up in the System Preferences.
PowerMate OS 9 1.0 is the new version of the PowerMate driver for Mac OS 9. It adds support for keystroke sensitivity. It also has a number of small bug fixes including a problem that could sometimes occur where button clicks were not sent problems with deleting custom settings, and multiple keystrokes would sometimes be sent.
