IDG World Expo confirmed today that Apple has agreed to participate in the upcoming BioITWorld Conference & Expo. The Expo will take place at the World Trade Center in Boston, March 12 – 14, 2002.
Apple is one of more than 70 companies that have committed to exhibit at the show.
“With only two weeks left until BioITWorld, we’re seeing companies rushing to take part in this important new event,” said Charlie Greco, president and CEO, IDG World Expo. “These exhibitors recognize–and are capitalizing on–the growth opportunities within the biosciences market. As exhibitors at the inaugural BioITWorld, these companies are leading the charge into this exciting new market.”
BioITWorld will be the first event for bioscience professionals to focus exclusively on information technologies that are transforming the life sciences throughout the entire discovery and development process, according to IDG World Expo. Leading visionaries from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and government markets will come together to identify and learn about the latest tools and services that speed, store, analyze and interpret the flood of information produced by the life sciences industry.
