With the curves element, you can adjust a shadow or perform a color correction in a tonal range. With the curves element, you can adjust a shadow or perform a color correction in a tonal range.
Booster Elements offers an interface with a large preview and unlimited zooming anywhere on the working area, at any level of details in seconds, according to Gerry Naum, Human Software’s vice president of sales.
“Booster Elements really feels like a full standalone graphic application but is conveniently available as a plug-in,” Nunn told MacCentral.
Booster Elements 1.0 interface supports Photoshop 3.0+ filter plug-in standard. It’s compatible with Mac OS 8 and above, including Mac OS X. Adobe just announced Photoshop 7, which is Mac OS X compatible, but no word yet on an OS X native Photoshop Elements.
Booster Elements also supports PhotoPaint 8.0 and higher, Jasc Paintshop Pro, and any other applications that fully support Photoshop 3.0 plug-ins, including PageMaker, Illustrator and FreeHand. There’s an introductory price of US$49.95.
