Cross Culture Limited has updated Mergemill, its tool for generating Web pages and reformatting data exported from databases, to version 1.5. The update introduces an EasyWeb feature.
This feature consolidates and improves on all the Web tools in earlier versions, according to
MacTech magazine . What’s more, Cross Culture wants to create “the best test drive experience for customers” as they consider buying and using Mergemill, Managing Director Vitus Chak said.
“We open up almost all features of the software to trial users and allow them to use their data file for 30 days or runs,” he said.
Version 1.5 smoothes out the rough edges of the first release. Easily accessible help texts are now built into the software. They contain all the essential information, eliminating the need for a separate user’s guide, Chak said.
Mergemill requires a Power Mac running Mac OS 8.6 or above with 64MB RAM and at least an 800×600 display resolution. It’s not yet been Carbonized for Mac OS X. The cost is US$95 for a single user license.
