Two brothers who make games for the Mac. It’s no wonder that Strange Flavour and Freeverse Software are teaming up, then — the brothers Fothergill, principals of Strange Flavour, announced today a new partnership with Freeverse Software, founded by brothers Colin and Ian Lynch Smith. The team will market Strange Flavour’s arcade-style Mac action game, Airburst. Strange Flavour also announced development of a sequel to Airburst called Airburst Extreme.

“Freeverse made us an offer we couldn’t refuse, and I didn’t want to wake up with a burning monkey head in my bed,” joked Strange Flavour’s Aaron Fothergill.
Airburst will continue to be available for a paltry US$5, according to Strange Flavour. The company’s first Mac offering, Bushfire, will become freeware as well.
Aaron and Adam Fothergill will continue to put “finishing touches” on Airburst while they’re developing Airburst Extreme. The brothers offered no specific release date for Airburst Extreme, yet. Look for new info on the Strange Flavour Web site and links to the Freeverse Store this weekend.
