Network Technologies Inc. (NTI) noted improvements to its 2-port KEEMUX-USBV-2U keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) switch. The device controls two USB-based computers and is compatible with various Sun, PC and Mac systems, according to NTI.
Changes to the 2-port KEEMUX-USBV-2U include a new durable and compact case that measures 5.2 x 4.25 x 1.25 inches. It also supports “broadcast mode,” and features support for VGA-based graphics resolutions of up to 1900×1200 pixels.
The new switch features internal microprocessors that provide keyboard and mouse emulation at 150MHz. Users simply select the desired CPU channel using front-panel push buttons or via hotkeys. The box features a 15HD VGA type connector, female USB Type A connector for keyboard and mouse, and female USB Type B connectors for computer connectivity.
The box carries a suggested retail price of US$245.
