The security specialists at Open Door Networks are shipping version 1.1.2 of their Who’s There? Firewall Advisor for Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X.
The product assists users in analyzing, investigating and responding to access attempts to their Mac. Version 1.1.2, a free upgrade for registered users, makes generally available the versions of Who’s There? that is included in Symantec’s recently announced Norton Internet Security for Macintosh 2.0. It supports “ping” and other ICMP access attempts and offers updated links to service specifications.
Who’s There? Firewall Advisor supports Open Door’s DoorStop firewall, Symantec’s Norton Personal Firewall, Sustainable Softworks IPNetSentry and any other firewalls that use the Mac-standard “WebSTAR” log format.
