Creative Standard, a company that provides an online Web site creation solution for graphic designers and design shops, has released Creative Standard Enterprise 2.5.
The content management solution is now J2EE-compliant, based on Apple’s WebObjects technology and is specifically designed for quick enterprise deployments on Mac OS X, Solaris and Windows, according to Mark Jauregui, Creative Standard’s vice president of marketing.
With the product, designers and business users can quickly and easily manage assets and content on robust Web sites without the use of templates or bringing in the “coders,” according to MacTech magazine . Based on WebObjects, Creative Standard Enterprise 2.5 is designed for ease of use, rapid deployment and low cost, Jauregui said.
WebObjects is Apple’s tool for creating Java server applications. Its graphical development tools, palette of prebuilt (and reusable) components, and integration with all kinds of data sources has won praise from developers creating standards-based, Web application servers.
Creative Standard Enterprise 2.5 is US$9,999.00 per license.
