Macromedia and FForward, have announced that Flashforward2002 will be held April 2-3 in San Francisco’s Herbst Theater. This year’s conference will focus exclusively on the new Macromedia Flash MX.
Flashforward2002 is sponsored by Macromedia and produced by lynda.com and United Digital Artists. It will offer sessions on in-depth techniques for using Flash MX. The two-day event features a joint Macromedia keynote by Kevin Lynch, chief software architect, and Jeremy Allaire, chief technology officer, as well as a “Meet the Macromedia Flash MX Engineers Question and Answer Forum” with Jonathan Gay, vice president of technology; Gary Grossman, senior software engineer; Pete Santangeli, vice president of engineering; Robert Tatsumi, senior software engineer; and Eric Wittman, director of product management. On the evening of April 2, the Flash Film Festival showcases 60 of the world’s best Macromedia Flash creations and awards winners in 13 categories. The Flash Film Festival is preceded by a Macromedia Flash book signing event and networking reception.
