Proteron LLC today announced an incremental update to its new MaxMenus utility.
The Mac OS X only tool is designed to simplify the locating and launching of applications, documents, volumes, preferences, recent items, photos, music playlists and more. It comes with several preconfigured menus, but also offers expandability options so users can design and create menus to suit their needs.
The 1.0.1 update adds new features for control over running programs and mounted volumes and fixes several minor bugs identified in the initial release, according to Samuel Caughron, president of Proteron. It can be downloaded from the company’s Web site.
It’s free to registered users. All new users downloading MaxMenus will automatically receive the 1.0.1 update. The utility costs US$29.95. Volume and educational discounts are available; inquire by e-mail.
