If you use REAL Software’s REALbasic development environment and you’d like to get a better understanding of how it works, you may be interested in a new periodical coming this summer. It’s called REALbasic Developer.
Written by REALbasic users for REALbasic users, the magazine will feature programming tips, sample code, tutorials, news and rumors and in-depth feature articles. The first issue is expected to be released in July, to coincide with the annual Macworld Conference & Expo that happens each year in New York City.
You don’t need to be an experienced REALbasic developer to get the most out of this new publication, either. The publishers of REALbasic Developer note that about half of the articles in the new magazine will be targeted towards new programmers. The remaining features will be focused on giving intermediate and advanced developers help.
REALbasic Developer also plans to have regular columnists, features on various aspects of software writing, an “Ask the Expert” section, reviews of REALbasic plug-ins and tools, interviews with creative REALbasic authors, a “postmortem” feature where a software project is analyzed after released, classified ads and more.
