today announced the release of its VGA to ADC conversion box. The interface enables Apple’s ADC-equipped monitors to be used with analog VGA video connectors, like those found on PowerBook G4s, various dual-head video cards and third party graphics cards.
Gefen said the box will work with any PowerBook G4/500 or faster; ATI Radeon 7500; “Twinview” supported Nvidia GeForce 2MX and 4MX-based graphics cards; Radeon Mac Edition; Mac OS 9.2.2 and Mac OS 10.1.3.
Utilizing the US$399 interface, users can attach more than one ADC-equipped display to their Macs when used in conjunction with a video card that offers both ADC and VGA output.
