EZPZapps.com has announced the release of Kartolina 1.0. Carbonized for Mac OS X, the new application is billed as a tool for creating personal greeting cards from digital videos and photos.

The software provides a way for users to capture a single frame from digital video or a digital photograph to create a personal digital greeting card. Kartolina automatically links to AOL Mail, Outlook Express, Entourage and Eudora via AppleScript to help simplify the process of sending cards, also.
Kartolina requires Mac OS 8 or later (and Mac OS X), and requires 64MB RAM, 5MB hard disk space, and QuickTime 3.0 or later. The software costs US$25.
