The shareware developers at Objective Development have updated LaunchBar to version 3.2. LaunchBar is a utility that offers quick access to your favorite files, Web bookmarks, e-mail addresses and applications by entering short abbreviations.
The update improves performance making searches are now more than twice as fast, according to Objective Development. Drag & drop functionality has been enhanced to offer a variety of file operations, as well as a new preferences panel with lots of new preferences options. Alias names can now be assigned to URLs and e-mail addresses and the list of running apps can now be browsed backwards using the Shift key.
LaunchBar 3.2 for Mac OS X can be downloaded now. A home user license for “non-commercial, non-profit use” is US$19.95 per user.
