Power On Software has released new Mac OS X conduits for Now Up-to-Date & Contact. They’re available now for free download as part of the company’s public beta testing.
The Palm conduits allow users of Now Up-to-Date & Contact to synchronize their schedules and contacts with Palm computing handheld devices, including products from Handspring. The update permits synchronization using the new Mac OS X native conduit architecture. Power On has enhanced the safety of the synchronization process by providing backup capabilities so that users can revert to pre-synchronization status if they desire, according to Robert Leeds, Power On’s vice president of Business Development & Communications.
Now Up-to-Date & Contact Version 4.1.1 is available now, and the new Mac OS X conduits will be released upon the successful completion of Palm Computing and Power On’s testing, he said. The suggested retail price of the product is US$129.95, with electronic downloads available for $119.95.
