Network Technologies Inc. unveiled a couple of new KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) peripherals compatible with Mac systems at CEBIT this week.
The USB-C5 Extender enables users of USB-equipped PCs and Macs to extend their computer up to 150 feet away from up to four USB peripherals. The device works by connecting devices using CAT5 Ethernet cable.
The Mac version of the device, labeled USB-C5-M, runs for US$220 and supports the soft power on feature of Mac keyboards.
Network Technologies Inc. also introduced the USB-ADB Adapter, which connects USB-based Macs to various legacy KVM switches from the company that utilize Apple Desktop Bus (ADB) instead of USB. The adapter costs $49.
