The 4-Port USB-Audio Hub provides what Griffin calls “full USB audio capabilities.” It’s a fully functional 4 port USB hub that works powered or unpowered (it includes an AC power adapter). The hub carries a suggested retail price of US$39.
Griffin vice president of marketing Andrew Green explained that the company first noted USB audio problems with certain hubs when doing tech support for its iMic product, a USB-based microphone input device.
The ClearChoice iPod Connection Kit has been created to hook up Apple’s iPod digital music player to a home entertainment system or stereo receiver. It includes a seven-inch mini-jack male to RCA female adapter and a six foot mini to male RCA cable. It includes gold-plated white plastic connectors and clear wiring. It costs US$14.99.
