Macworld magazine today announced that it’s the finalist for five Maggie awards. The Maggies are given out annually by the Western Publications Association (WPA).

The nominations in the consumer category include: Best Computer Magazine; Best Series of Articles; Best How-to Article; Best Regularly Featured Department, Section or Column; and Best Single Editorial Photograph.
Other major publications up for Maggie awards this year include PC World, Road & Track, Upside, Red Herring, and many more. The WPA represents publications and publishing concerns west of the Mississippi.
The winners of the 2002 Maggies will be announced at an event in Los Angeles on April 26, 2002.
