iReplace — the US$12.50 utility for advanced search and replace actions, primarily for Web documents from LAJ Design — has been updated to version 1.1.
iReplace allows you to specify multiple items to find and replace or just to search for those items. You can select special characters and it will replace those with the HTML equivalent of those items, according to MacTech magazine . iReplace supports HTML files (.htm;.html;.html;.asp;.php), plain text files (.asc;.ascii;.text;.txt), Rich Text Files (.rtx), and tab separated Files (.tsv).
Version 1.1 removes the previous 30-day time out period on the demo version. It also adds support for additional Mac OS X features such as sheets.
There are separate sites for downloading the Mac OS X version and “classic” Mac OS version. iReplace 1.1 requires a Power Mac running Mac OS version 8.0 or higher, including Mac OS X.
