Hot on the heels of an iPod software update that adds equalizer presets and contact management functions, Apple has released an updated version of iTunes, its digital music software.
iTunes 2.0.4 is now ready for download from Apple’s Web site, both in Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X-compatible installers.
There’s scant information about what has changed specifically in iTunes 2.0.4. On its Web site and in the Read Me file included with the iTunes 2.0.4 installer, Apple explained that “iTunes 2.0.4 offers expanded AppleScript support, and improved stability and performance.”
