The Apple Teacher Institute in the UK is now underway with 60 odd participants from all over Britain and Europe. It’s being held March 25-28 at Cheltenham College, Gloucestershire.

Targeted to UK and European teaching professionals, many of the attendees are members of Apple’s Distinguished Schools and Distinguished Educators programs. Apple is company is working with schools and educators to, in the company’s words, help them “discover how a media-rich curriculum can make a motivating and enriching learning environment.”
The ATI is a residential course, and topics covered include: digital video in education; in-depth studies of creative education solutions; skill development in subject and age-group-relevant projects; and sharing of experiences, action planning and portfolio development.
