Well, the 2002 Academy Awards are over. Not everyone got to go home with Oscar, but lots of folks got to go home with an iPod.

According to an article in the New York Times, nominees and presenters got some nice gift baskets. One of the goodies in the basket was an iPod.
“John Barrett, the New York hairdresser who was here with a team of 15 stylists, said he got a call from a friend, an actress staying at his hotel, to come and gawk at a basket she got,” the Times said. “It was a cornucopia of products, from an iPod digital music player and a digital camera to gift certificates for a resort vacation, a meditation chair and, inexplicably, a mattress. Harry Winston sent each nominee an empty ring box, with a note inviting them to come in and pick out a platinum ring. So this is Productwood.”
