The touch screen makers at Troll Touch have a new touch screen solution, the TouchStar2 System, custom made for the new flat panel iMac.

It’s made of an internally integrated non-breakable, analog resistive touch screen overlay and high resolution 12-bit USB controller. The TouchStar 2 System adds touch capability to the new iMac, turning it into an interactive display, countertop or pedestal mounted kiosk, POS terminal or communication device for those individuals with verbal limitations, according to Nick Durso, Troll Touch president, Nick Durso.
“By internally integrating all of the touch system components the form factor has not been compromised,” he said in announcing the new product. “And, the addition of our non-breakable touch screen overlay provides a layer of protection between the user and the LCD display.”
Troll Touch customers can send in iMacs they’ve already purchased for touch screen system installation or can purchase the entire touch-enabled package directly from the company. All current LCD models are supported. For the pricing options, go to the Troll Touch Web site.
