With Apple having announced a beefed-up iPod with 10 GB hard drive and built-in contact management support, Power On Software has released a free NowPak module that lets Now Up-to-Date & Contact users transfer their contact data from their Mac to any iPod running the new iPod 1.1 software.

With the NowPak for iPod, users can transfer contact data from Now Contact to the iPod by mounting the iPod on their Mac desktop — you’ll need to be running Mac OS X 10.1.2 or later — and then running the NowPak software. It creates a contact file on the iPod listing all the contact information that’s been transferred.
Now Up-to-Date & Contact Version 4.1 is available now. The suggested retail price of the product is US$129.95, with electronic downloads available for $119.95. The NowPak for iPod software can be downloaded for free.
