Sonnet Technologies today announced price drops of up to $50 on some of its processor upgrades and its other enhancements for the Macintosh.

The company offered $50 and $30 rollbacks on the price of its Crescendo/PCI G3 500/1MB and 450/1M models respectively; each is now $199.95 and $149.95. The Crescendo/PCI G3 line works with Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS X (using additional software) and is compatible with the following Mac models:
The company has also rolled back prices on its Crescendo/7200 G3 400/512 and 400/1M upgrades — the 400/512 model has been dropped to $199.95, and the 400/1M dropped $10 to $249.95.
The Crescendo/7200 G3 line works on Power Mac 7200, 7215, 8200, and Workgroup Server 7250 models. It supports System 7.5.3 through Mac OS 9.1.a
Sonnet dropped the price of its Tango FireWire/USB PCI expansion card $10 as well, to $89.95.
