The Omni Group has released a new beta version of its OmniWeb browser: version 4.1b2 (as in beta 2), which requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later.

The gang at Omni says the latest version of the Web browser beefs up Java support, improves JavaScript compatibility and offers more CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) improvements. The update also improves stability and uses less memory.
OmniWeb 4.1b2 also boasts several interface enhancements and new features, including a Dock indicator for changed bookmarks. There are also compatibility preferences for easily masquerading as another browser, Find/Replace in the Source View, a more informative Downloads window, popup menus on the Back and Forward buttons and more.
