On this week’s Your Mac Life, the Internet radio show about all things Mac, host-producer Shawn King will chat with Larry Horn, vice president of licensing for the MPEG LA group.

That’s the organization that Apple says is holding up the release of QuickTime 6 due to licensing issues. Horn will offer his side of the story.
On a lighter note, cartoonists Nitrozac and Snaggy will be on hand to talk about GeekCulture and Macs. Doug Walker, president of Alias|Wavefront, will talk about their software and the recent — and dramatic — price cuts on it. And my MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will serve up the latest Mac gaming news.
King will also announce the first leg of his Mac User Group Tour. Check out the MUG Center, an online resource for Mac User Groups (MUGs), for more details and to find out how your user group can get involved. This week’s show will be filled out with Tokyo stories, pictures and prizes from Griffin Technology, Marathon Computer and CompanyStuff.com.
You can catch the show every Wednesday from 6-8 pm (Pacific). You can also join the show’s gang in the chat rooms on the World Without Borders site or on the Dal.Net servers on IRC in the #yourmaclife Channel.
