The folks at Contour Design have revamped their Contour ShuttlePRO multimedia controller and will unveil the updated product at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) expo in Las Vegas April 8-11, 2002.

The Contour ShuttlePRO Multimedia Controller provides control over digital editing software. Acting as a jog and shuttle controller, it’s designed to offer timeline accuracy that a computer mouse and arrow keys can’t deliver. The ShuttlePRO also has 13 programmable buttons. The US$125 ShuttlePRO connects to computers via USB port and is compatible with Mac OS 8.6-9.2, as well as Mac OS X.
The new version will have tweaked software on a hybrid Mac/PC compatible CD that ships with it. There will be a fully automated installer and pre-printed labels for the 13 programmable buttons. There will also be new pre-programmed settings for a variety of software programs and a poster that illustrates how ShuttlePRO owners may modify or create their own settings for any software application.
